2025 African Women Achievers Awards, a testament to the boundless potential of African women – Amb. Dr. Temisan 

The organiser of the 2025 African Women Achievers Awards & Summit, and president, Mayorkings Agency Group and Mayorkings Charity Foundation, Amb. Dr. Temisan O. Louis, has described this year’s event as a testament to the boundless potential of African women.

Speaking to newsmen in Abuja at the end of the ceremony, which took place on Saturday, August 30, 2025, in Johannesburg, South Africa, Louis noted that the event was a huge success, because it left a lasting impact on the continent’s journey towards gender equality, women inclusiveness in the scheme of things, and women empowerment.

He pointed out that the event tagged: ‘Celebrating 100 African Female Change Makers’, witnessed representation from powerful African women from across 30 countries in Africa.

Louis said that the ceremony, which was organised by The Mayorkings Agency Group in Collaboration with Mayorkings Charity Foundation, and support from Dylan & Dritan Consults, also brought together remarkable women from across the continent, who celebrated their outstanding contributions to various fields and industries.

He added that the event, with the theme: ‘The Africa We Want; Shared Continental Advancement Through Positive Collaborations & Partnerships’, also featured thought-provoking panel discussions, keynote speeches, and networking opportunities, all aimed at fostering collaboration and driving progress.
