Popular Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci, has shared the measurements of ingredients she used to prepare her record-breaking jollof rice.
She had announced online that she would be attempting to make history by cooking the largest pot of jollof rice ever.

The event was set for September 12, 2025, at Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos State.

In a fresh video by @hildabacion on TikTok, she listed the measurements of rice, oil, goat meat, and even the kilograms of gas she used in cooking.
She said:
“4,000 kg of washed basmati rice, 612 kg of oil, 800 kg of Gino Asun peppered chicken + party jollof, 600 kg of my Jollof pepper mix, 220 kg of Gino Asun & peppered chicken cubes, 20 g of Gino curry + 7 g of Gino thyme;
“300 kg of onion, garlic & ginger blend, 164 kg of fresh goat meat, 1,200 kg of gas, 9 hours of fire, passion & teamwork = 16,600+ plates of Jollof Rice served with joy, love, and community.”

How Hilda Baci prepared for jollof festival
Hilda Baci earlier announced that the event, which was earlier scheduled to be held at Muri Okunola Park, would now be held at Eko Hotel and Suites.
Weeks ago, Hilda Baci and her crew test-ran the pot she was going to use for her latest kitchen quest.
On Thursday, she announced that the pot arrived at Eko Hotel by 4 am ahead of the record-breaking event.
