“Mr Eazi get money pass Davido”: Deeone claims reveals how much each spent on their weddings

Former Big Brother Naija star Deeone, whose name is Aderombi Adedayo Martin, has generated outrage by comparing Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola’s wedding to that of Davido and Chioma.

In an Instagram video, the comedian claimed that Mr Eazi is wealthier than Davido, pointing out that his wedding to Temi cost almost $14 million and took place in three countries—Monaco, Dubai, and Iceland.

Deeone juxtaposed this with Davido and Chioma’s Miami wedding, which he estimated cost roughly $6 million. He added that Mr Eazi and Temi’s private ceremonies were attended by high-profile visitors such as Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, and BUA Cement founder Abdul Samad Rabiu, among others.

Deeone backed up his allegations by admitting that the Adeleke family is wealthy, but they cannot be compared to Otedola or Mr Eazi’s Ajibade family.

Taking a swipe at Davido’s circle, Deeone criticised Cubana Chiefpriest, claiming that people who earlier boasted with terms like “Money na Water” have now gone mute after witnessing greater wealth.

Deeone encouraged people to share their views on Mr Eazi’s and Davido’s weddings, pointing out that both events were made open for the public and should be compared accordingly.

He concluded by telling Nigerians not to put pressure on themselves, emphasising that wealth varies:

“Where some people’s money ends, another person’s money begins.”

Patrick Doyle compares Mr Eazi and Davido’s weddings

In an Instagram post, he highlighted a significant difference between the two high-profile weddings.

Regarding Davido’s wedding, he pointed out that it featured a mixed crowd of both famous and infamous individuals, whereas Mr Eazi’s wedding was mainly attended by a select few accomplished individuals.
