FCT, Abuja – The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has announced that the second phase of its recruitment exercise will commence with an online Computer-Based Test (CBT) scheduled between 14 and 21 September 2025.
In a statement signed by the Service’s management, NCS urged applicants to check their registered e-mail addresses and phone numbers for updates on the test schedule and venue.

“The Service has commenced the next phase of its ongoing recruitment exercise, which is the Online Computer-Based Test. Only candidates who successfully passed the initial documentary scrutiny have been invited for this phase,” the statement read.

Superintendent cadre applicants to write additional test
The Customs Service further clarified that candidates applying for enlistment into the Superintendent Cadre (Level 8) will be required to sit for an additional CBT after this phase.
“This recruitment process is sequential. Therefore, only candidates who succeed in the subsequent phases will be invited for further screening,” NCS added.
Customs expresses commitment to credible recruitment process
Reassuring the public, the Service reiterated its pledge to transparency and fairness throughout the exercise.
“The Nigeria Customs Service remains committed to a transparent, merit-based, and credible recruitment process,” the management stated.
