Akin Alabi’s business acumen
He made a flashback to over two decades ago when he, alongsidea friend, ventured into poultry farming.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain wrote on his verified X (formerly Twitter) page:
“When December (2001) came, no one was coming to buy. I went to Iwo Road myself to hawk the chickens on the street. My respect for street vendors tripled that year.”
He added:
“Firstly, the plan was we are going to sell directly from our poultry. The sales were not encouraging so we had to go out. As newbies in street selling, we went for where there was little competition. And we were right. We sold out.”
