Katelyn Rosaasen, now 43, is equally proud of her chart fame.

Her Instagram biography states: “Appeared in music videos for Linkin Park Crawling and The Offspring Want You Bad.”

Meanwhile, on Facebook, she explains the reasoning behind her characters in the clips.

The brunette is best-known for starring in Linkin Park’s 2001 video for Crawling, as well as *NSYNC’s Gone video in the same year.

The year prior, she made her debut in music videos in scenes to accompany The Offspring’s Want You Bad.

In the Linkin Park scenes, her character is seen closing off to the rest of the world, with a series of crystal shapes forming around her.

Meanwhile, in The Offspring’s catchy video, she is seen stripped to a black bikini top and tartan skirt.

Her character shimmies around in the middle of a jam-packed rave before one of the rockers approaches her and whispers something in her ear.

Katelyn’s character, who has opted for her signature poker straight locks and fresh make-up, is then seen giving him a slap before storming out.

And a whopping 25 years on since the track’s release, the screen star looks no different.

She recently showcased her ageless look in a selfie posted to her Instagram grid.

The actress posed in a summery vest top and held her camera in front of her face, tilting her head to one side in her selfie.

She captioned her snap: “Summer” which prompted one fan to write: “Came here just to tell you how gorgeous you are.”

In another selfie, she is posed against a leafy backdrop in her garden, where another follower remarked: “You basically haven’t aged.”

One posted: “Looking at you makes me think of Crawling.”

Another gushed: “Crush for life.”

A third then wrote: “SO OUT OF THIS WORLD BEAUTIFUL.”

OPENING UP

Back in 2020, Katelyn posted an emotional message to both her Instagram and Facebook pages.

She uploaded a screen grab showing her in the Linkin Park video with a lengthy caption.

The screen star wrote: “2020 In these unsettling, unusual times, I have something important to say.

“I believe my being in the Crawling video is no coincidence. I knew I got the part as soon as I auditioned for it.

“The only time that ever happened to me. I believe I have a connection with Chester.”

She addressed late singer and band member Chester Bennington’s horrific childhood abuse – which he told was behind his substance issues – and added: “Just like Chester, I have experienced abuse.

“Not on the the level I believe he did, but nevertheless on a level that was bad enough for me.

“I believe pain is relative. No pain is worse than another. It’s only relative to what you have experienced.

“Pain is pain. I believe Chester understood that, and made it his life’s work to express and convey that to the world. I’m proud that I had any part of his mission.”

Chester died by suicide at the age of 41, back in 2017.
