But spare a thought for Sara Trent who forgot to wash off her fake tan before bed leaving her a shade of green rather than a touch of bronze.

Sara mistakenly fell asleep with her self-tanner on, meaning it was developing for over eight hours rather than the recommended length of one hour.
The 30-year-old from Tupelo, Mississippi, woke up to find herself with a horrifying result, and after trying to scrub it away, she was still left with the deep green skin tone.
She shared a video of the unfortunate incident on TikTok where they quickly started to go viral, gaining over 795,000 views.
The video features the marketing director showing off her unfortunate new look before revealing how she managed to get her skin back to normal.
She said: “I was like, oh my god, my self-tan and I ran to the mirror, and I saw what it looked like.
“I freaked out slightly.
“I was about to have a panic attack because it doesn’t normally look like that.
“I just had to take a video because if it didn’t shower off.
“This one was supposed to be done within an hour, and I fell asleep and I washed it off like eight hours later.
“I wanted the memory for the future of never falling asleep with a self-tanner again!
“It did shower off for the most part. I had to rinse like twice.”
But while it may have been a disaster for Sara, fellow TikTok users were left in stitches, sharing their thoughts in the comments.
One wrote: “You became a Oompa Loompa 🤣🤣”
“U look like u have chocolate all over lol,” added another, while a third wrote, “Girl wash your face!”
