A Nigerian lady said she was part of those who graced the jollof rice festival hosted in Lagos by celebrity chef Hilda Baci.

The lady got many plates of the jollof rice which Hilda Baci prepared in a large pot.

Hilda aimed to set a new world record for the largest pot of jollof rice ever cooked.

The event, tagged a jollof rice festival, attracted a large number of people, including a TikToker identified as @sophia_oluchukwu_1.

Sophia tasted the food in a video and said it was very good. She said she did not expect the rice to taste nice because of its large size.

However, she said she was surprised that it was still delicious and she enjoyed eating it.

But Sophia said the only little issue was that the rice was hard. She said this was understandable because of the large pot and quantity of food cooked.

She said:

“People that are saying rubbish are just looking for fame, the rice is ok!! I doubt if anyone in the world can cook that quantity with such incredible taste.”

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that a Nigerian lady who attended Hilda Baci’s Guinness World Record attempt got two plates of jollof rice.

The lady opened one of the plates of rice and tasted it, after which he gave an honest review of the food.

According to the lady, the food tasted wonderful, and she danced excitedly as she ate the food made by Hilda.
