The Nigerian clergy, who was present at Hilda Baci’s recently concluded Jollof cookathon where he prayed for her, praised her resilience and determination while speaking with the press.

“What I feel is that she is demonstrating the values of Christ, because ‘I can do all things through Christ and all things are possible,’” Pastor Idowu said.

“I love her story because Hilda reminds me that despite your background, pains, trauma, and limitations, you can do the impossible if you believe,” he said.

In 2023, she became a national sensation when she claimed the world cooking marathon record, an exhausting 93 hours and 11 minutes. The record was later surpassed by Irish chef Alan Fisher.
