Woman, 40, charged with murder after eight-year-old child dies at home

A WOMAN has been charged with murder in connection to the death of an eight-year-old youngster.

Cops say they were called by ambulance staff to a home in Marsh House Avenue, Billingham in Teesside following the child’s death on Monday morning.

Louise Cameron, 40, has been charged with murder and is due before Teesside Magistrates’ Court later.

Previously, the death had been treated as “unexplained” although no further details were given.
