One of his hobbies is collecting sports trading cards – he was introduced to the live-shopping app Whatnot by YouTube pal Angry Ginge, who won last year’s I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! jungle show.

Littler said: “I’m into football cards at the minute so I might have to treat myself to a few boxes. Just a few.

“Panini cards, Topps cards, anything. It’s Ginge’s fault really, he got me into Whatnot.

“You bid and they will open a box and then they say you get Cristiano Ronaldo, you get a Ronaldo card. I will treat myself to that.”

Last year, Littler treated himself to a £39,000 BMW – with a personalised number plate – which he started driving once he passed his theory test at the eighth attempt and then his practical assessment.

Yet he is not planning to upgrade that model because “I will have to get a year on the insurance before changing that one”.

Littler will now have a week off at home with the Sid Waddell Trophy in his possession before flying to the Middle East for back-to-back World Series of Darts events in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

The world No1 will then go with girlfriend Faith to Dubai for a short holiday to coincide with his 19th birthday on January 21.

“Hopefully I can try and get up to £3million.

“Obviously the money’s there. I’ve said it before in the past, us as a family we’ve never had this sort of money.

“So I’m not going to go and waste it. I’m not going to change. I’m not going to start buying stuff. I’ll just stay as I am.

“I don’t need to change. This is me as I am. Even when I’m at home, I’m the same person.

“I’m just a darts player at the end of the day. People call me a celebrity but I’m just a boy living his dream.”
