Peller Raises Alarm After Receiving “Outrageous” Tax Bill From Govt: “Do You Want to Finish Me?”

Nigerian TikToker, Habeeb Okikiola aka Peller, has raised an alarm, claiming that the Lagos State Inland Revenue Service (LIRS) has hit him with a tax invoice of ₦18 million.

In the viral clip, Peller begged the authorities to have mercy on him.

He stated:

“Government, please, I need you to pity me. I don’t have anything; I am just managing. How can you tell me to come and pay a huge tax? Do you want to k!ll me? You also have someone like me as a child at home? Why are you doing this to me?”

Peller believes the massive tax bill might have been influenced by an online rumour, one that claimed he paid fellow content creator Gehgeh ₦25 million to appear on his livestream.

The TikToker was quick to set the record straight in another video.

He added:

“Please don’t listen to him (Gehgeh). I did not pay such an amount. It was my fans who contributed to the studio payment. I am just a normal guy on the street. Even the partnerships I do online, they don’t pay more than ₦200k or ₦500k.”

According to him, the viral claim about a ₦25m payout painted a false picture of his finances, possibly catching the attention of tax officials.

Peller calls out Oshoala

Legit.ng earlier reported that Peller publicly expressed his disappointment at Asisat Oshoala and other members of the Super Falcons. He accused them of ignoring him after their recent financial reward from the presidency.

In a video making the rounds online, Peller alleged that ever since the Falcons’ WAFCON victory bonus landed, a staggering $100,000 each, his messages to the players have gone unanswered.
