His words:
“Congratulations to Hilda Baci and Gino for setting a new world record with the largest serving of Nigerian-style Jollof rice. It is yet another reminder that our people can break records, set standards, and inspire the world,” Atiku wrote.
Guinness World Records confirms achievement
Guinness World Records officially confirmed the milestone, announcing the record-breaking accomplishment on its platform.
“New record: Largest serving of Nigerian-style Jollof rice – 8,780 kg (19,356 lb 9 oz) achieved by Hilda Baci and Gino in Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria,” the organisation stated.
Legit.ng reports that this new achievement will add to Hilda Baci’s growing reputation as a record-breaking chef.
Recall that she had previously earned global recognition for her remarkable cook-a-thon challenge.

Legit.ng reported that Nigerian celebrity chef Hilda Baci has further stirred excitement among her fans after the new change she made on her official Instagram page after breaking the Guinness World Record for the second time.
Recall that in June 2023, Hilda became a national sensation when she claimed the world cooking marathon record, an exhausting 93 hours and 11 minutes.
However, she was later surpassed by Irish chef Alan Fisher. Her new record means she is now a two-time Guinness World Record holder.
