Popular Nigerian comedian Atunyota Alleluya Akpobome, well known as Alibaba, in a viral video on social media, expressed relief that the suspected shooter of conservative activist Charlie Kirk was not a black man or an Arab.
While mourning Kirk, Ali Baba, however, stated that he was relieved the late activist’s shooter was not Black or an Arab.
According to the comedian, Kirk’s assassination was a terrible thing, but it would have been worse if the perpetrator had been a black man.
“I was happy it wasn’t a black guy,” he said in part in the viral video.
Legit.ng reported that the alleged shooter of Charlie Kirk was unveiled as Tyler Robinson, a 21-year-old from Utah.
Recall that Kirk was fatally shot in the neck while speaking at a debate at the Utah Valley University.
According to authorities, the shooter fired a single round from a rooftop in what they described as a targeted assassination.
U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed the arrest, telling Fox News that investigators acted “with a high degree of certainty” in taking Robinson into custody.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that Mercy Chinwo’s husband, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, came under fire over his tribute to Charlie Kirk.
He described Kirk as a man of conviction, courage, and dignity who never wavered in his beliefs, regardless of opposition.

Court evicts Ali Baba from mansion
Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that Ali Baba found himself at the center of a serious legal battle over a luxury property in Victoria Island, Lagos.
Ali Baba and his company, XQZMOI TV, were evicted from the mansion located at 324A Akin Ogunlewe Street.
The eviction was carried out by bailiffs of the Federal High Court following a writ of possession signed on August 15, 2025.
