Amid the trending issue involving an Ibom Air passenger, Comfort Emmanson, a lawyer, Benita Ezinne Ibeh, shared her encounter with the air hostess involved.
Comfort was filmed slapping an air hostess on the plane and resisting arrest from the airport security that confronted her at the Lagos airport in videos that emerged.

The videos showed how the passenger struggled with aviation security and ground officials who tried to disembark her from the plane.
In one of the videos, the passenger’s privates were exposed after being pulled out of the plane.
Lawyer advises Ibom Air to withdraw case
Shortly after the news went viral, it was reported that Comfort was remanded in Kirikiri prison after being charged in court.
As Nigerians analysed the situation, Benita took to her Facebook page to share how the air hostess behaved towards her.
She mentioned that she encountered the air hostess when she used the airline.
Based on her experience, she called for the release of Comfort, who had been remanded in prison.
Her Facebook post read:
“I woke up sad. The lady was absolutely wrong to have raise her hand and acted the way she did.Come to think of it, if you were stripped naked, wont you do anything to fight back? C’mon!!!
“That girl should be released. We are all guilty of leaving our phones on flight mode, it’s called flight mode for a reason please. I create contents on air and nothing has happened. That girl deserves justice. I had an encounter with that same Ibom air hostess, very rude somebody. Well it’s safe to say Ibom Air if that girl doesnt get justice, you just lost a passenger.”

Reactions trail lady’s experience with air hostess

“You’re right! The air hostess took it personal. She would have just forgiven and forgotten what transpired in the flight, thank God they landed safely. But no, she just wanted to deal with the lady. I thought we should treat our customers well, and value them. There were other airline, but she chose to patronize them.”
Old video of Comfort in Ibom Air surfaces
As Nigerians analysed the situation, an old video of Comfort using Ibom Air surfaced, suggesting that she was a regular user of the airline.
In the video shared on her TikTok page, the lady was seen boarding an Air Ibom flight.
She showed off her passport, cash, and the interior of the plane during her flight to Ghana with Ibom Air.
