Guinness world record for Nigerian jollof rice celebrated by first lady
In a statement released on Tuesday, Mrs Tinubu expressed admiration for Baci’s dedication and innovation in promoting Nigerian cuisine on the international stage.
She said, “I congratulate you on setting another Guinness World Record for the largest serving of Nigerian style Jollof rice cooking.”
The First Lady commended Baci’s “passion, resilience, and creativity” in showcasing one of Nigeria’s most beloved dishes, describing her efforts as “inspiring.”

Who is Oluremi Tinubu?
Oluremi Tinubu, born on 21 September 1960 in Ogun State, is the First Lady of Nigeria and a seasoned politician.
She served as Senator for Lagos Central from 2011 to 2023 and was First Lady of Lagos State from 1999 to 2007 during her husband Bola Tinubu’s governorship.
A member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), she is also an ordained pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church of God. Tinubu holds degrees from the University of Ife and Adeyemi College of Education.
