Our reporter gathered that the global summit, with the theme; The Africa We Want: Sustainable Development; Everyone’s Responsibility”, scheduled for Johannesburg, South Africa, is dedicated to driving positive change and recognising influential African and global leaders.

President and Founder of both Iconic International Holdings and Mayorkings Charity Foundation,
Amb. Dr. Temisan O. Louis (a.k.a Mayor Of Africa), while speaking on the summit, noted that the next decade is crucial for Africa, adding that achieving true and lasting sustainable development for the continent requires a collective effort.

Temisan, who is the convener and host of the event, maintained that the sixth edition of the Iconic Global Summit/Honors promises to be an extraordinary convergence of ideas, inspiration, as well as recognising and setting the pace for a more sustainable, prosperous, and inclusive future for Africa.

Temisan said that this year’s theme is a clarion call to action, because it demands a shared commitment to the continent’s prosperity as envisioned in the African Union’s Agenda 2063, stating that it is not just the responsibility of governments or NGOs, but for every single citizen, business, and community leader.

The convener added that the key highlights of the event, would include the official launch of the organization’s expanded suite of Iconic brands, designed to foster specialized leadership networks and platforms for impact.

According to him, “This includes: the introduction of Iconic Global,
Iconic Africa, Iconic Council,
Iconic Women, Iconic Under 50, Iconic Under 40, and Iconic Under 30, which focuses on youth leadership and innovation, as well as the prestigious Iconic 500 List, which recognizes the most impactful personalities and organizations globally.”
