Popular Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci, has transported her large pot to the venue where she’d be cooking the largest pot of jollof rice.
She said the movement of the pot took place from Gbagada where it was fabricated to the venue of the festival.

Hilda Baci had announced online that she would be attempting to make history for the largest pot of jollof rice ever cooked.

Hilda Baci earlier announced the event, which was earlier scheduled to hold at Muri Okunola Park would now hold at Eko Hotel and Suites.
She opened up on how many people registered for the event and the reason for the change in venue.
The event would hold on Friday, September 12, 2025 at 9am and the registration and meal is free.

On Thursday, she announced that the pot arrived at Eko Hotel by 4 am ahead of the record-breaking event.
She captioned the video:
“At 4am this morning, our pot safely arrived Eko hotel. God is good. At 4am this morning our pot was safely moved from gbagada where it was fabricated to Eko hotel where the event will be taking place I’m still pinching myself this is actually happening in less than 24hrs.”
