“I have been on aircrafts in Nigeria, I have seen passengers flagrantly disobey simple instructions; ‘turn off your phone for take off and landing’. I have sat uncomfortably with heady passengers who will still be pressing their phones during take off. When the hostess insisted, they will pretend to turn it off, only to continue their scrolling once the hostess leaves. Some hostesses simply give up to avoid the Kwam 2 kind of situation sometimes. The instruction says turn off your phone during take off and landing, it doesn’t say put it on flight mode. Take off and landing are the critical stages of flight, they don’t last more than 5 to 10 minutes. A turned off phone for that period will crash kwam 2’s life?”

The priest lamented that a lot of passengers always refuse to adhere to simple instructions given by the air crew.

He noted:

“You fly from USA through London, a handful of Nigerians you see will conduct themselves and follow the instructions of the airline staff, but once we are boarding from Heathrow to Abuja, 99% of passengers are Nigerians, you will see the sudden and radical change in the atmosphere as we board.”

Also, Fada Oluoma said that when the lady refused to come down from the aircraft as security came, she made them force her.

He said:

“Kwam 2 was barred from disembarking from the plane, she was telling the air hostess to let her go. Then when security personel came, she didn’t want to come down, that led to the forceful ejection that led to other things my eyes have no business seeing in the first place. Kwam 2 must come down from the aircraft, why not follow them gently down as they approached you? There are two options to come down from that aircraft, by force or by self, what would a wise person do? By self.”
