Eddie wore jogging bottoms and a tracksuit top, and a baseball cap.

The Sun were first to reveal that the star would be going on I’m A Celebrity this year.

A source said: “Eddie is hilarious and will provide some much needed comic relief to campmates in the jungle.

“He’s very quick-witted and the show will hopefully help land him lots of new fans.”

It’s a busy time for the comedian who recently revealed he had also filmed Celebrity Apprentice.

Earlier this year Eddie also launched the Man Like You Podcast with former I’m A Celeb campmate Babatunde Aléshé, who took part in the series in 2022, and TV presenter Mo Gilligan.

Meanwhile, it comes as Eddie’s fellow I’m A Celebrity campmate Lisa Riley arrived in Australia yesterday.

The actress, who plays Mandy Dingle on the ITV soap, flashed a big smile as she strolled through Brisbane Airport.

The soap star opened up about how she’ll cope with camp life as she insisted she’s made of tough stuff.

Mandy Dingle actress Lisa joked that she was returning to Australia to film a new version of 1997 special episode Emmerdale: The Dingles Down Under.

She said of the special, which saw her family travel to Oz: “We did Dingles Down Under many years ago so it’s only fair that we do Dingles Down Under again, I feel.

“I’m a Dingle – I can cope with anything, I’m from the North!

“Us Northerners, we’re made of tough skin. Definitely.”

Lisa said she will be unfazed by creepy-crawlies, saying: “I’ve worked on a farm for many years on Emmerdale – it’s part of the job being Mandy Dingle I suppose.

“I’m just here to have fun and a real good laugh.”

Kelly Brook was the first celebrity to touch down in Australia ahead of her I’m A Celebrity appearance.

The model, 45, looked in good spirits as she arrived at Brisbane Airport on Sunday after a 24 hour flight.

Despite the long journey, Kelly looked fresh-faced and raring to go with a full face of makeup and rocking a stunning yellow dress.

The star kept tight-lipped about her I’m A Celeb appearance but revealed what she’s going to miss the most while she’s in camp.

Kelly said: “I am going to miss my dog Teddy and my husband Jeremy, and my food in general.”

Kelly joked as she arrived at Brisbane Airport: “I haven’t seen my auntie Sheila for a long time so I can’t wait to see her, and I’m so excited that you’re all so excited for me.”

Asked about how she is with creepy-crawlies, Kelly quipped there might be some in her “relative’s” garden and added: “I don’t know what you’re talking about, I’m visiting a distant cousin.

“I’m looking forward to surfing. Like I said, I’m looking forward to seeing my distant cousin that I’ve not seen for a long, long time… the koalas and the kangaroos.
