JB Gill has dropped a huge hint that a JLS star has signed up for Strictly, as he opened up on the new series.

The 38-year-old was a finalist in the popular BBC series last year, being pipped to the post by comedian Chris McCausland.
Now, JB has opened up to The Sun about the new series, telling us that he actually knows a couple of the contestants.
The star said: “Without spoiling anything for anyone, I actually know a couple of the contestants who are going to be on it.”
Quizzed as to whether or not they’d be his JLS bandmembers, JB went on: “Well I don’t think Oritsé is doing it, and Marv would do it but he’d probably forget his routine by the time it got round to Saturday.”
There has been a lot of speculation as to whether or not the remaining two JLS stars will take part, with both Marvin Humes and Oritsé Williams yet to do the show.
Aston Merrygold took part in 2017 and was partnered with Janette Manrara.
He was considered a favourite to win, but was shockingly eliminated in week seven.
JB expressed his disbelief that it had nearly been a year since he’d taken part in the dance contest, with it set to return in the autumn.
Speaking on behalf of car insurance brand Tempcover, JB continued: “I’d encourage people to have fun on the show as ultimately that’s what it’s all about. It is a competition, yes, but you’re learning a new skill and it helps not to take it too seriously.
“You’re never going to be a professional in the amount of time you’ve got to learn the style of routine and the dance. I had fun and I never ever imagined getting to the final, especially with all the challenges I had last year.”
JB took to the dancefloor with Lauren Oakley in the end, despite initially being partnered with Amy Dowden.
Due to Amy’s illness at the time, the star had to make the switch midway through the competition.
In his interview, the dad-of-two tells us he’s still very much in touch with both Amy and Lauren.
He went on: “Being able to dance with both Lauren and Amy was great. In fact, Lauren just messaged me earlier as they’ve started rehearsals now for the group dances.
“She said she’s in rehearsals and she’s packed her bags and got five pairs of socks which is like a running joke between me and her.”
JB is a busy family and career man, with no signs of stopping.
Not only is the start embarking on his brand new The Club Is Alive tour with JLS in November, but JB also fronts shows like The One Show, had his CBeebies show Down on the Farm, and a cooking show with his two adorable children Ace and Chiara.
Touching on family life with his wife Chloe, JB spoke about their summer plans and the fact that they are lovers of a game of shotgun when it comes to car journeys.
He said: “Three in ten argue with their kids about who gets the front seat in the car but that just doesn’t happen in my family.
“My wife is always overruling the kids, the unofficial rule is that wives overrule. But yeah, it’s great working with Tempcover, because everyone plays it differently and certainly over the years when I first started driving I played shotgun with my mates and the JLS boys too.”
New official rules launched by temporary car insurance brand Tempcover, backed by research and JB Gill of JLS, help end the Shotgun debate for smoother summer journeys.
