There was a similar controversial development with another passenger identified as Miss Comfort Emmanson, also known as Comfort Bob, who allegedly assaulted both flight crew and ground staff during Ibom Airline Flight Q153 from Uyo to Lagos on 10 August 2025.
Taking to social media on Tuesday, August 12, the NCAA educated the public by explaining the five must-do things for air passengers at the Nigerian airports. Below is the list of things:
Arrive on time
The NCAA explained that passengers are expected to arrive at the airport two hours before taking a domestic flight and three hours before taking an international flight.
According to the federal government agency, this would give room for check-in, security and boarding properly.
Know the rules and have documents ready
The federal government urged air passengers to read and understand ticket terms and conditions before using the airports.

Follow the law and regulations, show respect and avoid interference
According to the NCAA, air passengers are to comply with all government, airport and airline rules. Passengers are urged to be courteous to staff and fellow passengers and are told to avoid behaviours that are unruly, abusive or harassing.
The government said that air passengers must not disturb the crew or interfere with the operators of an aircraft.
Switch off devices
Also, passengers are advised to switch off their mobile phones and other connecting devices during the flight.
The NCAA explained that this was for safety and respect for other passengers on board.
Report issues promptly
Air passengers are also urged to report any issues to staff immediately they arise.
The arising issues could be flight delay, damage, loss or stolen baggage, stating that they should be reported before leaving the airport.
