BARBIE star Margot Robbie is in talks over a huge role — in a remake of cult classic movie Attack of the 50 Foot Woman.

Negotiations have centred on her firm LuckyChap producing the film, with the possibility of her taking the lead.
The reboot of the 1958 sci-fi horror is being driven by top director Tim Burton, 66, who has previously led remakes of Alice in Wonderland and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
He is also searching for a new scriptwriter as Gone Girl writer Gillian Flynn quit after penning a first draft.
The film follows a troubled heiress who grows into a giant after a close encounter with an alien, before taking revenge on her cheating husband.
The original had a run-time of 75 minutes with Alison Hayes in the lead.
