NAF Airstrikes Killed 592 Terrorists in 8 Months, “Precision Night-Strike Capabilities”

Maiduguri, Borno state – The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) airstrikes in the North-East killed no fewer than 592 terrorists and destroyed 372 enemy assets in eight months.

The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar, said the Air Component executed 798 combat sorties, destroyed 206 terrorists’ vehicles and 166 logistics hubs in the North-East.

Abubakar made this known on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, during a courtesy visit to Governor Babagana Zulum in Maiduguri, Borno State.

As reported by Daily Trust, the NAF spokesman, Air Cdre Ehimen Ejodame, disclosed this in a statement.

The CAS was quoted to have said:

“Backed by an upgraded fleet and precision night-strike capabilities, NAF aircraft had executed 798 combat sorties, clocking over 1,500 operational flight hours in the Air Component of Operation Hadin Kai”.

According to CAS Abubakar, the operations crippled terrorists’ mobility and logistics.

He added that it destroyed 206 technical vehicles and 166 key logistics hubs deep in hostile territory.

Governor Zulum commended CAS Abubakar and the NAF for their sustained air support in degrading terrorist capabilities and protecting communities.

Military bombs terrorists’ enclaves on Borno mountain

Recall that the Nigerian military succeeded in bombing terrorists’ enclaves in the Mandara Mountains located in Borno State.

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) attached to Operation Hadin Kai bombed key terrorist strongholds during the operation.

NAF airstrikes bomb bandits to death in Zamfara
