A NEW flavour of an iconic chocolate biscuit has landed in Sainsbury’s stores.

The supermarket is now selling white chocolate Tim Tams, much to the delight of shoppers.
The Australian treat is a fan favourite down under, but the chocolate-coated biscuits are a much harder find here in the UK.
The tasty treat comes in many flavours, including chocolate and caramel.
But Sainsbury’s supermarket is the first UK store to stock the white chocolate version of the snack.
The rare find was first spotted by NewFood UK, with many sweet-toothed shoppers unable to contain their excitement.
One shopper said: “Need the white chocolate ones.”
While another eager customer said: “Sainsbury’s are now selling white chocolate timtams, my lil Aussie backpacker heart is so happy.”
And a third shopper simply said the treat looks “yummy”.
If you are keen to try the snack out for yourself, you will need to head to your nearest Sainsbury’s
The product costs £2.50, or if you have a Nectar card you will be charged £1.85.
Shoppers can also try out a range of other flavours too, including milk chocolate and extra chocolatey.
You can find your nearest Sainsbury’s supermarket by visiting /stores.sainsburys.co.uk.
Alternatively, you can order the snacks online the next time you are doing an home delivery grocery shop with the store.
The supermarket is not the only store that stocks the products, with Tesco and Waitrose also known to sell the snack.
Both supermarkets sell the Aussie treat for £2.50, but the white chocolate flavour appears to be exclusive to Sainsbury’s.
More Aussie chocolate finds
And it is not the only Australian chocolate bar spotted across UK supermarkets in recent weeks.
In B&M shoppers spotted the Cadbury Dairy Milk Sticky Toffee slices bar in stores this month.
Elsewhere, the Cadbury Dairy Milk Slices Peanut Caramel bar was spotted in the discount store for £2.99 in-store back in March.
And more recently in May, shoppers spotted a Cadbury Dream and Marvellous Creations bars.
The bars contain raspberry flavoured candy chips and jelly pieces, as well as popping candy which is slathered in dream white chocolate.
How to save money on chocolate

We all love a bit of chocolate from now and then, but you don’t have to break the bank buying your favourite bar.
Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how to cut costs…
Go own brand – if you’re not too fussed about flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you’ll save by going for the supermarket’s own brand bars.
Shop around – if you’ve spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it’s cheaper elsewhere.
Websites like Trolley.co.uk let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you’re getting the best deal.
Look out for yellow stickers – supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they’ve been reduced.
They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best-before date or the packaging is slightly damaged.
Buy bigger bars – most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar.
So if you’ve got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger.
