Newcastle ‘want to seal Benjamin Sesko transfer in next 24 hours as Toon go all out to beat Man Utd to £70m deal’

NEWCASTLE UNITED are hoping to wrap up the signing of Benjamin Sesko in the next “24 hours” its been claimed.

The Magpies have identified the RB Leipzig hitman as a replacement for wantaway striker Alexander Isak.

The Toon have tabled a club-record bid for the Slovenia international but have had their opening gambit rejected by Leipzig.

Both clubs remain in talks over a big-money transfer for the striker, who is also wanted by Manchester United.

And the Daily Mail claim the Toon brass want to wrap up the deal for the 22-year-old as soon as possible.
