The heartwarming scene was captured on video by a mother, who shared the clip on TikTok via her account @teesbeautylane.
In the video, the drummers created an energetic rhythm with their instruments as the children walked into school.
However, despite the special welcome, some of the pupils struggled to adjust to the new environment, with many crying and wanting to return home with their parents.
The mother, who recorded the video as she dropped off her children, was clearly amazed by the scene.
She noted that the surprise welcome was intended for both pupils and teachers, and she was surprised by the mixed reactions from the children.

“POV: At your children’s school. They got pararan people to welcome the kids back to school. I later got to know that the surprise welcome was for both teachers and students. “Despite the paranran.. that one still no one go school. Who else noticed the child.”
@festusdarrey reacted:
“The problem here is that we are too fascinated about unnecessary things at the expense of what is needed the question still remains: “what has this got to do with the academic excellence of the students? the money used in doing this could have been used to subsidize other needful things for the student. I can still say that this money used to do this will still be one way or the other collected back from the parent sooner or later.”
@Elle Zaddy added:
“You guys forget that it’s surely going to reflect in school fees. But I loves this so much the children will be so happy to resume.”
