The 2025 Olojo Festival, hosted by the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, took place on Saturday, September 27, at the Ojaja Arena in Ile-Ife, Osun state.

Legit.ng recalls reporting that the Ooni announced his emergence from a seven-day seclusion as part of the Olojo Festival in Ile-Ife, Osun state.

In a post, the Yoruba monarch said he had spent the period in communion with God and ancestral spirits, praying for peace, prosperity, and unity in Nigeria, Africa, and for the children of Oduduwa across the world.

The Olojo Festival, an old Yoruba tradition, features the monarch’s annual retreat, during which the Ooni withdraws from public life to intercede on behalf of his people.

Fun videos from their live performance showed them thrilling fans on stage with their hit songs.

However, Obesere’s performance appeared to have gained more attention on social media as netizens shared their observations about his attire and songs.
