Abeokuta, Ogun state – Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 election, visited former President Olusegun Obasanjo on a courtesy visit on Sunday, September 14.

Legit.ng reports that during the visit, Obi and his allies like Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour and Yunusa Tanko, discussed the state of the nation, according to the opposition leader.

The former Anambra governor added that discussions also focused on how all Nigerians can live together in unity, love, fairness, and justice.

Obi said this when he paid a visit to the Olubadan-designate and former governor of Oyo, Oba Rasidi Ladoja, at his Ondo Street, Bodija, Ibadan residence, on Sunday, September 14.

He said the socio-economic and political history of Nigeria would not be complete without mentioning Ibadan, adding that Ibadanland had always played a pivotal role in both the socio-economic and political history of Nigeria.
