- A man named Derrick took to social media to narrate how the lady was deceived by Rema, which eventually led to her arrest
- He also noted that she had already spent two days in detention, and that they were threatening to keep her there for a longer period of time
Words on the streets of social media suggest that Nigerian singer Divine Ikubor, widely known as Rema, has allegedly had a lady arrested.
The lady, identified as Amaka, an interior designer, was reportedly detained by the singer and has allegedly been held for about 48 hours.

According to reports, there was an initial contract to renovate his new house, but details of what transpired remain unclear. However, Derrick, a family member, claimed that Rema ordered her arrest after she requested her payment.

Derrick wrote:
“URGENT!! We need your help!! Rema (@heisrema) is using the Nigeria Police Force to harass and detain Amaka Obasi (@amaka_babyy) all because she asked for payment on the project he commissioned her to do. Rema and Amaka had an initial contract to renovate his new house.”
