Ojo Olorunleke has discredited claims made by his wife, Tosin Olorunleke, that he is conspiring with his mistress to frustrate her.
The former Sunshine Star is unhappy that his wife took the matter overboard by publishing details on social media.
Football stakeholders in the country have exhausted every available means to reunite the couples, but all have proved abortive.

2023 AFCON runner-up Ojo Olorunleke admitted that he had pleaded with his wife Tosin Olorunleke after their marriage turned sour.

In a post on Instagram, the former Enyimba star described the publication made by his wife as misleading and malicious.
Olorunleke said, despite their misunderstanding, he had continued to play his role as a husband by providing financial support for his children, per Premium Times. He said:
“The problem in our marriage began a long time (around 2023), and I have exhausted every available avenue to reconcile with my wife.
“Despite our differences, I supported my wife financially by giving her money for business, paying her monthly wages and ensuring our children get their upkeep.
“It is on record that I provide a monthly upkeep of N250,000 in addition to covering the rent, school fees, and medical bills.
“I have made efforts through family intervention and paid for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), but she declined the peaceful reconciliation, rejected the ADR and insisted on court action.”

My wife refused to visit me – Olorunleke
Former Al-Merrikh SC accused his wife of neglecting her marital vows to keep him company.
The 30-year-old accused his wife of declining his invitation to visit him during the football season while discharging her duties as the Team Manager of Confluence Queens.
He refuted claims that he is planning to harm his wife and children because of his mistress, per Leadership. Olorunleke wrote:
“This persistent neglect of her marital obligations left me emotionally strained and contributed significantly to the breakdown of our relationship.
“It is malicious and unfounded to allege that I use charms, or that I seek to h+rm my wife and children. These accusations… expose me and even third parties to ridicule, suspicion, and public hostility.
“If my wife has any grievances, social media is not a court of law. Instead… she can take up her complaints before a court of competent jurisdiction with proof.”

Olorunleke takes wife to court
Legit.ng earlier reported that former Enyimba goalkeeper Olorunleke Ojo has approached a State High Court sitting in Lokoja for the dissolution of his nine-year marriage, after admitting to committing adultery.
The Super Eagles goalkeeper failed to turn up for the case during the hearing at Court 6 on Thursday, July 24.
