Woods has not played since missing the cut at the Open Championship in July 2024.

And an injury to his Achilles has seen him sidelined for most of 2025.

Woods ruptured the tendon, forcing him to go under the knife in March.

That surgery came less than a year after he underwent spinal fusion — his sixth back operation in the last decade.

In 2023, Woods went under the knife to sort lingering ankle issues.

While in 2021, Woods had numerous operations on his knee, ankle and back after sustaining multiple injuries in a horror car crash which saw him almost lose a leg.

He has played in just 11 events since the nightmare smash.

But the icon finally looks set to be on the comeback trail, much to the delight of fans.

And video revealed he was in no discomfort as he cracked several shots off the green with a short-range club.

Woods’ appearance came just one day after appearing in Philadelphia at the opening of his new ‘learning lab’ at a golf centre.

It sparked fears among fans that he was thinking about retirement.

But Woods’ latest clip shows he may have a swing or two left.

A target for him could be the 2026 Masters, which takes place in the second week of April.

Woods is ranked 1,389 in the world but would qualify due to being a recurring Green Jacket holder.

One fan said: “Omg, omg.”

Another declared: “This is super-fast recovery. Not surprised with this guy’s drive and will.”

One added: “Tiger looks great.”
