The Next Act saw Simon Cowell scouring the length and breadth of Britain hoping to find members of the boyband, which the group named December 10.

The band consists of Nicolas Alves, 16, Cruz Lee-Ojo, 19, Hendrik Christoffersen, 19, John Fadare, 17, Josh Olliver, 17, Danny Bretherton, 16, and Seán Hayden, 19.

In their catchy new video, which debuted today on YouTube, the boys are seen walking into a music studio before launching into their cover version of NSYNC’s Bye Bye Bye.

It is the full live, acoustic session filmed at Metropolis studios, which was featured briefly at the end of the six-part Netflix series.

One wrote: “British Boybands just have that special something you can’t describe. Love it love it love it.”

Another said: “Yall will be on all the girls walls. Congratulations to each and every one of you. Going to do great things.”

A third declared: “The different voice pairings in the middle work so well! John’s voice is insane.”

“I put off watching the show because what I feared has come true. I’m obsessed. I love a boyband I’m so sorry. Acc im not sorry. They all have my support x,” wrote another fan.

While another said: “I just know they’re going to be BIG.”

“I cried at nearly every Netflix episode watching all of your journeys and cant wait to see you all go far! Will be a life long fan! Good luck boys!!!” said another fan of the band.

Simon revealed his new seven-member boyband December 10 had chosen their name because it was the release date for the documentary.

He told The Sun this week that he’s confident the band will be a success.

The 66-year-old said: “All I know is, is that if people like them as much as I like them – and I really, really do have a bond with these boys – then I will be so happy.

“And they’re real, they’re not privileged, you know, they have no leg up apart from this.

“And I was thinking, where would they be without this opportunity? One of them is still working in a fast food restaurant.

“They’re just lovely, funny boys.”

Simon previously admitted to some nerves over the project.

The former X Factor judge invited 16 budding singers to his home in Miami for a bootcamp style crash course.

Simon said: “When you’re putting a band together it’s like mining for diamonds.

“As much as I love my job on TV, I miss where I started, which is signing artists and working with bands.

“There is a massive opportunity. I am going to find a new boy band.”

He candidly added: “But there is a huge risk. If this goes wrong it will be ‘Simon Cowell has lost it’.

“The chances of this working are less than 10%.”
