Nigerian tech entrepreneur and founder of Ocean Trends Digital Limited, Damilare Ajiboye, has been recognised with the Champion of Women in Technology & Entrepreneurship Award at the African Women Achievers Awards & Summit / He4She Awards 2025, held recently in Johannesburg.
Ajiboye, who participated virtually as a Guest Speaker, delivered a session on “Technology-Driven Empowerment and Inclusive Growth Across Africa.” His address focused on how digital innovation can drive sustainable development, expand opportunities for women and youth, and accelerate continental collaboration under the event’s main theme, “The Africa We Want: Shared Continental Advancement Through Positive Collaboration and Partnership.”
Drawing from his experience leading Ocean Trends Digital Limited developers of platforms such as EarnIt NG, AlheriCare, Bimzukash and ElyonEdu. Ajiboye underscored the importance of inclusive technology ecosystems and strategic partnerships in unlocking Africa’s next wave of growth.
In addition to his role as CEO and senior developer, Ajiboye is a member of the British Computer Society and the Internet Society (UK and Nigeria chapters), where he advocates for innovation, capacity-building, and digital inclusion.
