Actor Okiki Adeshina dies in car accident

Okiki Adeshina, the Nigerian actor better known as Janmole, has passed away following a tragic accident.

Bolaji ‘Mr Latin’ Amusan, the president of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), announced the actor’s death in an Instagram post.

The association’s leader disclosed that the theatre practitioner died from injuries sustained in the crash.

Mr Latin also offered prayers for the late actor, asking for peaceful rest and divine comfort for the grieving family.

“May the soul of our departed colleague, Adesina Okiki Janmole, who tragically lost his life in an accident, rest in perfect peace,” he wrote.

“May God grant his family, friends, and colleagues the strength and comfort to bear this irreparable loss. He will be greatly missed. Amen.”

Fans and colleagues flooded the comment section of the post with condolence messages.

In his tribute, film star Jomiloju Olunbe wrote: “Haaaaaaa Okiki Adesina Oshin ® • He said.

“‘Jomiloiu won’t I be in that vour video ? “| told him to ioin me now that the video is for him, he laughed and joined.

“I never knew it will be the last time on set with him. In this very video, he was saying ” Jomiloju, I no know say I fine pass you like this o”. What a life! R.I.P Okiki Adeshina Oshin.”

The actor was well known for his roles in Yoruba-language films and had recently ventured into TikTok content creation, where he amassed thousands of followers.

His movie credits include ‘Agunbaniro’, ‘Ìyàwó Asante’, and ‘Ọgbọ́n Inu’.
