Shaun Okojie, the former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate, has announced his admission into the New York Film Academy.
The reality star shared the news via an Instagram post on Wednesday. He posted photos of himself on the academy’s campus alongside his new student ID card.
In the caption, Shaun made it clear that his ambitions go beyond mere dreams.
“Not here to chase the dream. Here to build the career. Officially starting my acting journey at NYFA. The work begins,” he wrote.
The announcement has since drawn an outpouring of congratulatory messages from colleagues in the entertainment industry and fans alike, many of whom have followed his journey since his time on the show.
Shaun rose to prominence after he participated in the 2024 BBNaija ‘No Loose Guard’ edition, which was won by KellyRae.
He came into the show as part of ‘Team Shatoria’ with his friend Victoria Onyenwere.
A graduate of Sports Science from the University of Bedfordshire, Shaun had a brief career as a footballer before venturing into entertainment.
The reality star has also acted in a few movies such as ‘Christmas On A Budget’, ‘Vee’s Valentine Chronicles’ and ‘More Than A Feeling’.
