Stan Nze, the Nigerian actor, has opened up about the importance of forgiveness in romantic relationships and marriage.
Speaking at the premiere of film ‘Ajosepo,’ the actor shared his views on why forgiving, even in the case of infidelity, is essential, provided it stems from a genuine place of love.
“Love is enough, real love, I’m not talking about the butterflies in your tummy, it’s not that, the one that Christ preached, the one that is agape, the love in Galatians 5: 23, it’s not built on flesh, its genuine, it is the one that is selfless, the one that is kind that forgives easily, “he said.
According to Stan, a major reason many marriages fail is a lack of forgiveness.
“Love is enough if it is the right love, yes, I can forgive cheating, but we shall not continue in sin that grace may abound, so you will not be stupid but if someone offends you or someone does something that is not right, that’s what it is…”
“It is not a license to be stupid, but it is something that you should be able to forgive.” he said.
Stan Nze and his wife Blessing Nze dated for three and a half years before getting married.
The couple tied the knot in September 2021 and welcomed their first child, a boy, in 2023.
