Susan Peters, Rotimi Salami, Aisha Lawal… TCL’s celebrity fashion picks of the week

This week, our celebrities were all about the drama and flair in their fashion choices. They proved that fashion could be soft, subtle, but also dramatic and elegant.

Here are TCL’s top 5 celebrity fashion picks of the week:

1. Susan Peters

Susan was stunned in a futuristic black mermaid gown defined by its architectural construction and glossy pleated texture. The fitted bodice featured sculpted off-the-shoulder detailing, a sweetheart neckline, and metallic embellishments that accented the structured design. The gown hugged the body before subtly flaring at the hem, creating an elegant hourglass silhouette. Gold-toned earrings and stacked bangles complemented the bold aesthetics.

2. Rotimi Salami

A picture of regality, Rotimi wore a royal blue agbada accented with red stripes and intricate embroidery. Draped over his shoulders was a luxurious fur stole that added a touch of nobility to the look. The outfit was paired with a matching blue-and-red traditional cap, layered bead necklaces and a carved ceremonial staff, giving a royal look.

3. Aisha Lawal

Aisha was a picture of poise and sophistication in a vibrant fuchsia mermaid gown that combined couture structure with feminine flair. The strapless bodice featured intricate three-dimensional ruffles that cascaded across the bust and waist. The fitted skirt was embellished with sequins and sheer illusion panels adorned with sparkling details, while the dramatic flared hem bloomed into oversized curled ruffles. A diamond necklace and bracelet add a touch of glamour to the floral-inspired design.

4. Tayo Odueke

The actress served a bold, aristocratic look dressed in a regal black velvet agbada adorned with intricate gold embellishments and bright pink floral appliqués. The outfit featured dramatic, pleated pink sculptural panels running along the sleeves and sides, creating a striking contrast against the dark fabric. She completed the look with a voluminous pink gele, coral bead necklace, bracelets, gold accessories and oversized sunglasses.

5. Ebunoluwa Dosunmu

A queen mother in her right, Ebun served in a dramatic black floor-length gown crafted from a shimmering textured fabric that flowed into an extended train. The voluminous silhouette was enhanced by oversized sleeves and a loose, regal cut, lending the ensemble a powerful presence. The look was elevated with a towering avant-garde headpiece made from sculpted black fabric, layered necklaces, statement earrings, chunky bracelets and bold rings.
